Participation is open to citizens of all nationalities.

All students must submit their Passport and National Health Service card.

Citizens not resident in the E.U. must possess a regular residence permit.

Partecipants will be sent and notified of their admission to the Accademia by 30 june 2010 to the Umbriasummer office of Accademia Musicale Internazionale with copy of payment of Euro 100 for registration fee + Euro 100 deposit for masterclass fees (Euro 200 for orchestral conducting)

Registration fee and deposit is reimbursable only in the event that the course fails to take place.

After 30 june 2010 it will only be possible to accept students in the event of available places.

The remainder of the fee must be paid at the beginning of the courses.

The courses will officially start at 10 of 24 july at the Convitto Nazionale "Principe di Napoli" in Assisi - Piazza Matteotti.

Participants will be invited to complete registration and accommodation procedures starting from 17.00 on 23 july.

These procedures may continue on the morning of the 24 july subject to prior agreement.

The execution of each course depends upon reaching a minimum of 6 effective students (conducting master 8 students).

Partecipants will be divided into two categories: partecipating students and "observing" students.

The teacher must decide which students attend as participants and which attend as observers.

They will also decide who receives diplomas and scholarships.

The students will have right to almoust 5 individual lessons for at least 45 minutes.

All partecipants will be given an admittance card which entitles them to enter the Courses and to listen to the concerts free.

Students are adviced to bring a music stand with them.

A certificate of attendance will be given to all students.

Public performances of the Umbriasummer 2010 will include concerts with students and in which the diplomas and scholarships will be awarded in the form of a bonus (free participation in the following year's courses) or of remunerated concerts during the year, at the teachers' discretion, in agreement with the artistic management.

Students will provide their own pieces for study.

Those who wish to be accompanied by a pianist shall send a list of pieces to be performed attached to the application.
